I had an idea for a summer "camp" - biking across the usa on a supported tour for under $6,000
Anyone think this is a good idea?

I think that is a great idea. It might be a bit of insurance hassle, but I know there are planety of trust-fund type teens and college kids who would jump on that. Heck, I'd do it if I wasn't a broke teacher!

The biking is a great idea. I think the $6000 could go towards a better use though such as hurricane Katrina victims or help somewhere else. Think of all the families that could feed in poverty stricken countries----alot! :) Good idea though.

As a house rabbit, my favourite summer activity is to take advantage of the good weather and go out playing in the garden. I also like to play with my toys or sleep on my blanket in the summer with the windows open so I can feel the warm summer breeze on my soft fur.

I had a friend who did that one year. The bad part about this is- theres not many people in great enough shape to pull it off without having a heart attck. 2nd it takes a very very long time to complete. I dont think Id do it

I think it is a great idea.....for ppl that can aford it. I mean the kids will be able to get excersize and get culture going to diff. places. I think it is great.....but I don't know how many ppl will be able to afford it.

But if I had that kind of $$$ I would spend it on bills.
