Worth Seeing how much of a different film is it than part 1?

The films are different yet in some ways the same. Captain Jack Sparrow is still Captain Jack Sparrow. There are close calls, escape scenes both on land and at sea, sword fighting, etc. Will seems to play less of a role in the second movie, in the first movie he was the one acting to save the day with a noble cause...in the second movie...Will, Elizabeth, and Jack equally share roles in moving the action along...and everyone this time has their own agenda. They're all acting more like pirates...less honorably...the movie has action, humor, and a tiny bit of romance.
I loved the movie. I did not find it boring at all. There were some scenes with the sea monster Kracken which I might have cut shorter if I'd been in charge...but overall it's very good and worth the money.
Part of it seems to be how narrow-minded you are when you go in the theatre. If you watch it with the attitude of "this movie is going to be boring" and "it couldn't possibly be as good as the first movie" etc. It just seems that some people make it their goal in life to hate every movie they watch and never be satisfied with anything.

It is worth seeing, but it has a different feel to it from the first one. Try not to compare the two, on it's own merit it's pretty good.

I loved it!!!! It was Funny, exciting, I just loved it!! Take this advice It is worth watching twice in a Theater. unless you didn't like the first one. Then only see it once. But You have to love the Quotes in it. I won't ruin it for you but Just go see it.

I'd suggest u to see it just because you know what happens...other wise i thought it was kinda lame,showed to much of icky monsters not enough of Will,Elizabeth,and Depp,and it was't as funny as the fist 1 and the first 1 was more entertaining if u know what i mean:)

Sassy Says...Oh endarkened one...It is ok but there are too many special affects..or in this case too many special defects.... I would not pay for it in the theaters, I would wait till it comes out on DVD..you can thank me later
