my period is always irregular, but my first period was lighter then normal. i have been told that after having sex the first time, that your period will be a little different. is that true?? we used a condom by the way.

don't based the change in your period after only starting sexual intercourse... wait for a few more and compare them...you may still be irregular.... maybe you should go on the pill or other hormone therapy to reduce the risk of pregnancy * unless that is what you want* and to make your periods more regular.

I am not certain how or even why your menstrual cycle would be different solely as a result of having had sex whether for the first time or the 101st time. Glad you used some protection, though, and I'm glad that you're taking a keen interest in your sexual health!
