Worldly, it is a matter of opinion. Biblically the answer is yes! If you are married or otherwise committed to one person then anything outside that, even so much as a thought is adultry. Even if the thought is harmless in content in that you are simply admiring the beauty of someone. Biblically it is still wrong because it is directed toward someone who is not your partner. It means that you are lowering the value of the person you are with by giving value to someone else for what ever it is. Thinking of having sex with that person is even worse. It completely lessens the value of your current partner.

Well, that depends on your beliefs. If you are like a lot of guys/gals...no, not unless you act on it in some way. However, if you believe what the Bible has to say about it...yeah, you've committed adultry (..to look at a woman and lust after her in your heart, you have committed adultry).

Yeah according to God,However there's a side bar on that.........the reason this is stated is because it has to do with a state of mind, because even if you committed the sex act naturally,it really steamed from your way of thinking at that time.
the bible say's "As a man thinketh in his heart so is he"
Proverbs 23:7
I truly believe God's motivation is to let us know that whatever you consume your mind with, you soon bring it to manifestation in your life,If we continue to feed ourselves with thoughts of adultrey...(especially to the point of visualizing it),we tend to put ourselves at a greater risk of falling to the trap when it presents it's self.
God is not insensitive to our desires and needs however he did make stipulations.
And he knew of our weekness and he made a way of mercy,That's why he sent his son Jesus,so when we miss it he's our advocate to fight our battle and he pleads to the father for us.
So God is not set on zapping you because you looked at a woman in the wrong frame of mind ........He's just trying to give you a new mind.(smile)

No as far as I'm concerned, just looking and thinking is ok and not considered as cheating. But don't go any further. Don't flirt, etc. And never do that in front of your girlfriend. She'll just be hurt.

i dont think so - i think men have an innate tendancy to fantasize about other women. As long as you dont act upon it im sure its fine.
Im sure your wife/GF is doing the same fantasizing about other men or perhaps even women. Even if your a bible thumper i think this is normal.

Nope... It's only adultery if you go and have sex with her. It's a normal thing and you are allowed to think it. Just make sure to keep it in your pants and never stray.

If you're single and think that way about a married woman...then the answer is yes....it's one of the church commandments.

if you're single and think that way about a single woman, start thinking about getting yourself a companion and marriage.
