I LOVE THE A'S but I don't see anying more than 2-3 for the A's. Zito needs to set the tone. I'll be there tonight and wednesday's mug rootbeer float day. The A's always get owned by boston however they did take 3-4 in fenway and there 6 games left in oakland. I am going to one in august.
I've seen so many close games and blowouts in oakland by both teams. I was there for the ramon herdandez bunt game in the 2003 ALDS Game 1 that went extras in october, I've seen many blowouts by boston, and a few close ones. But the sox do very well on the road and the A's aren't that hot as everything thinks. I hope Z won't be traded. GO A'S!!! BTW YANKEES need to beat texas for me.

Nope...they might be hot, and took 3 of 4 in Fenway, but some good pitching will bring them back to earth...our bats are also starting to wake up, they were asleep in the 4-game set at Fenway...they should hit Zito tonight (I've never seen a pitcher get hit so hard without giving up a run as when I saw Zito beat the Sox last series...the Sox were CRUSHING the ball right at people and just foul ALL GAME)...
Looks like there just might be a sweep after all...

I think Oakland will sweep the sox. They're hot right now and have the advantage of playing at home.
Also, the Yankees will WIN the World Series again this year! GO YANKS!

yeah, its not the sox looking bad as much as the A's looking good, they won 3 of 4 last time this time i'm thinking a sweep or 2 of 3. game 2 will probably be toughest, because it has an unproven jason windsor making just his 2nd career MLB start vs. curt schilling who pitched the red sox only win the last series

I don't think so, but I would love that. If the Sox lose 2 of 3 then I'd be happy as well, I think that's more likely anyway.

No, Zito will beat them but the Sox will get at least one game in that series.
And Fabio: they're getting their bad baseball out of the way now so they can resume whipping the Yankees next month, and then dominate in October. Good strategy if you ask me.
