because liberals are more concern with physical health than moral innocence of children.

Actually kids CAN pray in school, they just can't be forced to pray by their teachers. Isn't that better, really, than having somebody with no religious training, or worse yet a believer in some religion you do not accept, forcing words into your child's mouth? Prayer has always been OK in schools, just not official prayers and if you think about it, thats the way you really do want it.
Condoms...maybe your child won't experiment, but if they do, wouldn't you rather that they know how not to get pregnant, or how not to catch AIDS? Knowledge is power. It doesn't mean they will have sex, but if they do, they are better off knowing how to avoid big BIG problems.

I think what Chris is trying to say isn't that Science teachers can't attend church, but that sex is normal and is something proven. It is scientifically guarenteed that if a male and female engage in sexual intercourse and he ejacualtes inside of her, she will almost one hundred percent become impregnated. It's simple science.
Can you say that with religion? No, there are no guarentees. But if teachers can show children ways to prevent America's and other countries' populations from drastically rising, then why shouldn't they?
That being said, I am an Atheist and have no qualms with people praying in school. I might silently chuckle to myself during the moment of silence as some Catholic makes the cross symbol, but I most certainly won't say they're offending me.
No offense, but I don't think you completely understand the issue of praying in school. In America, we have the minute of silence and that's all you get. 60 seconds. A lot of religions (Muslim/Islam, Jewish, parts of Catholisism because you need to say an entire rosary sometimes, Taoism, etc) require more that 60 seconds of prayer time. That and the majority of American students are of some branch of Chrisitianity, so imagine how Rafiki will feel when he gets down on his knees and faces Mecca five times a day during school. And because of varying religion, a lot of parents feel like their children will be "lead" in prayer by a teacher. Well, what if your kid is Epesopalian, the teacher is Catholic, Rafiki is Muslim, and David over there is Jewish. The teacher can't exactly "lead" in prayer, now can they? Oh sure, I guess it could be a generic "Okay class, at this time, if you want, let's all pray to the god we worship: Dear Jesus/Muhammad/Allah/God..." No, it just doesn't work like that. Anyways, that's just my opinion.

AIDS is a worldwide epidemic!! Teachers teach kids about condoms because people like you wont! If you and your kind wont take responsibility and educate the children of our amazing country about this horrible disease then the brave and dedicated teachers of our nation will! Are you kidding me with this question? kids can pray anytime they want in school, a conversation with God is a private matter and you should know that better than anyone. What a joke!

because not everyone prays the same or at all and this country that you love so much and let's you bash liberals on a public website while basically thinking that they are Godless sinners has a thing called seperation between church and state. You want prayer in school and no sex ed., send your kids to a private school.

I jest glanced down at the keyboard and R and L and not close to each other.
Hmmmmm Could it be that you intended to type r and it wasn't a typo?
OK condoms are for teasing skills so important to teenagers. Also they make great water balloons at unchaperoned party's.
Teasing skills are needed later in life when they are at voting age. Also they can use these skills on Yah** Answers.

I am a liberal. I don't care if my children pray in school or not. they can pray in school until the cows come home. I just don't want them being LEAD in prayer by a teacher or school administrator who may not have the same faith as I do.

I think there might be secret codes hidden within this message. I am enlisting the help of our current leaders in office to decipher them. I'm sure they will discover WMD in the condoms and wage war upon them. At that time we will all be praying.

One thing has absolutely nothing to do with the other. Take a deep breath, get your thoughts in order and try asking a question that makes some sense. You'll get better answers.

Since you've embarrassed your own kind here, I think you should stop asking questions for a while.
There's NO point in even attempting to answer this twisted, senseless question.

Would you want a Science teacher teaching in your church?
Do you want a bunch of teenagers having children?
What do the 2 have to do with each other?
