How old is the fuel in the tank? Even a couple weeks old fuel can cause a rough condition if no stabalizer was added. If the truck has been sitting for weeks, or longer, drain the tank and put fresh gas in. New plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor if appicable, clean the coil packs if applicable (you will have one or the other). If it's still rough after that, then you have to start looking at other issues. Alot of parts are cross compatable so as long as the filter and assembly is very similar and you don't smell raw fuel, you should be fine with the other filter.

NO man. Don't do that. You might as well light a match and throw it in the gas tank.
Dude -its a Nissan. It uses Nissan specific parts.
Why would you mess with something that is so hazardous like your fuel line? Yeah it might fit but you could stall. Leak fuel. or Blow up.
Stop.
Back away from the vehicle and call a professional please.

Yes...

But more importantly, a fuel filter will not keep your truck from running. You would probably be money ahead to take it to Nissan and have them diagnose it instead of throwing lots of money at it trying different parts...

That would be my suggestion.

As long as the fittings are the same size, and there are no leaks after you turn the key on, then a filter is a filter. Go for it....

If the inlet and outlet will hook up, there should be no reason that you couldn't use a ford part on your Toyota.
