I've seen price quotes from 12 to 16 dollars for wheel straightening . Some bicycle shops will do the repair free if you bought the bike from a bicycle dealer. This should give you some basis to decide rather to fix or replace. With so many chain stores selling bikes now it may be more difficult to find a bicycle repair shop than back in the day when they were much more common.

how badly bent is the wheel? Is it just slightly out of whack so that it spins, but it rubs against the brakes? you might just need to tighten some of the spokes. You can buy a little spoke tightening thing for $5. if it's totally bent, then you can probably buy a new one for pretty cheap ( can be <$30, but it depends on how nice of a bike you have).

Your best bet .....get out your local phone book look up bike stores and stores like wal-mart or k mart (discount chains) call them and compare prices make sure the cheapest one has your tireand rim in stock ...go get it. Unless you have a sibling whose bike you can "borrow" it from . If you want to wait for shipping you can check E-BAY they have everything.
Since you didnt say what kind of bike it is or what size this is the best I could do.
Unless its a motorcycle you are talking about (we call them bikes here) call around to motorcycle shops I wouldnt reccomend calling the place you got it if it came from a dealership they are usually expensive .....If its a harley dont call a harley dealership call a non affilitated shop. It will be cheaper, waaaaaaaay cheaper.

Just ask around and try to find someone with a similar bike they don't use anymore, or check out yard sales. This is probably the most inexpensive way to go.

You just need a new rim and tire. you could find a used one for around 15-30$.
If you buy it new you have to considered trueing the wheel, spokes of course and don't forget labor.

Assuming you can find another replacement used wheel, probably about $40-$50.

with a little savy talking, you can probably get a used wheel and tire from a bike shop fairly cheap.
