maybe not inheritable but children catch on habits from their parents, maybe it is inherited though.

I'm not sure you can inherit a sense of humor, but if you're raised in a family with a good sense of humor some of it is bound to rub off. A sense of humor will get you through a lot in life. It's one of my most valuable possessions.

It all depends - although all humans are born with a sense of humor, some folks have a difference of opinion as to what is or isn't funny. In that case, the type of humor one finds funny is "learned" or inherited.

I think a propensity for good mental health is inherited which may account for ease in looking at things with a sense of humor.

I would say less inherited than by contact.
My son has my sense of humor, not his fathers...if his father has any...& I spent more of his life with him than his father.
If it were inherited, wouldn't it be some from both?
I personally don't see any of his fathers in him

i dont think so, my mom cant take a joke, my dad kinda can- neither are funny, my brother can take a joke, so can me and my sister, my brother tells funny things sometimes, my sis cant stop, and i can only sometimes, so i dont think so
