How many of you thought you either had a cold or the flu but really you were pregnant? Headachey, lightheadedness, pee more than usual, runny nose. Took a few tests and all indicate negative, had a little bleeding last month but it was shorter than norm period. Am on birth control pills, could this be altering result in test? Cannot shake this feeling everyday.

The pills wouldn't do anyhting to the test. When I was pregnant with my last child(he is now 7 months old), I had a light period and took a test and it came out negative. I waited another month after I missed a whole period and it came back positive but with the second line being real light in color. I adventually went to the ob/gyn. Which he then made it clear that I was pregnant. I was on the patch the whole time up until I went to the doc. I would say there is a chance you are pregnant. But I would check with your doc. The doc will take other blood tests to see where your hormones are at if you were on birth control the whole time of being possibly pregnant. But usually nothing comes of it anyway.Good Luck!!!

The best way to find out whether you are pregnant is to go to a doctor. However, if you have had a menstrual cycle during this time then chances are you are not pregnant. Symptoms of headaches, lightheadedness, extra peeing and runny nose are not signs of pregnancy. Delayed period could also be a cause and well as a symptom of your paranoi. You might be stressing yourself out thoroughly and after you having conducted several HPT tests at home chances are you are not pregnant.

Sounds like classic symptoms of pregnancy. I couldnt get a positive result from my pregnancy tests until I was about 5 weeks along. Go get some blood work done so you can find out for sure because if you are you should quit taking the bc pills asap! Good luck.

It could be "all in your head" as they say
you want so much to not be pregnant your scaring yourself into thinking that you are pregnant ..just go to a doctor and find out for sure and if it is just the flu ..your already at the doctor so get a prescription while your there

Light bleeding shorter than usual seems to be a more reliable sign of pg than flu. Good luck.

Could you possibly ask this question anymore?
Never felt like I had the flu or a cold early in pregnancy.

If you're on the pill and taking it on regular base, than you can't be pregnant. And the woozy-feeling? It doesn't have to mean you're pregnant. I was pregnant and didn't have any of those symptoms. Most of us just think it is so because we're influenced by movies. So, if you're feeling weird, just go and see your doctor, it won't hurt. ;-)
Take care!

I would go get checked out ASAP especially since you are only 29weeks. It could be from all the coughing. Good luck and I hope you are o.k.
