Actually the are worse than the KKK. Look who they choose for leaders. Nation of Islam-they hate all Americans, Jews, Christians, and white people. Thw NAACP is just as criminal as NOI.

Quite the opposite. The NAACP stands for :
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
The KKK, or Ku Klux Klan, has no meaning other than to advance hate.
Blacks have been oppressed for so long, even after slavery was long over, and the NAACP, helps Blacks to overcome racial injustices when heaped upon them then, and even now.
The NAACP works to insure political, economical, educational, and social equality with White people, which had been unequal, (and still is in some places), for so long.
It is not a supremest organization.
The NAAWP and the KKK, attempts to spread only hate loathing and separatism between Whites and non Whites.
These organizations are not the same in any form.
The KKK is a racist organization, and seeks to separate the races,
And the NAACP is an anti-racist organization that seeks equality among the races.

Think about it. Whites immigrated to America willingfully, blacks were brought here in chains and stigmatized as the inferior race. At the abolishment of slavery, where were the blacks to go? What were they to do? Why hire a black person to do a job when a white person can do it. Basically, blacks were left out in the cold, in a country they never asked to come to.

Though it has been over 100 years, blacks had to build themselves up from nothing, whereas whites had their plantations and established lives with an EDUCATION. It takes a while to establish any independent life, especially when the odds are against you. Just 40 years ago, blacks were awarded "equality." But overcoming a stigma is difficult, so negating the need for an organization intending to break down stigmas and help these people is completely ridiculous.

I don't agree with many NAACP policies, tactics, etcetera, however I will not stand to hear that an organization with reasonable and fair intentions is comparable to the KKK. That is just sick.

They support the teachings and ideals of WHICH racist organization? How? I agree some of the things they do/say are stupid (like telling blacks to boycott Target because they would not release employment information--STUPID) But last I checked, the NAACP was not reinforcing hatred against whites and or any other racial group for that matter. Neither have I ever seen them lynch anyone either...

And they are BIASED, although yes, there is the potential they could be racist. Know the difference!!

You gotta be kidding me right? I know you arent seriously comparing the NAACP to the KKK? You gotta be the most racist at worst, ignorant at best person out there to think that they are REMOTELY similar. You need to really research the KKK and why they were founded and the NAACP and why they were founded. I would try to give you the cliff notes version but it would take WAY too much typing.

The KKK is a secret organization, whose members are not known outside the organization (with some exceptions), and which engages in terrorist activities against certain groups. The NAACP is a public organization devoted to advancing the rights of people of color. Affirmative action is not reverse racism; affirmative action impacts women and other "minority" groups as well as African Americans.

You really don't know what you're talking about.

Actually, the NAACP was formed to counteract discrimination against blacks. If it weren't for the Civil Rights movements, we wouldn't have a chance. Intelligent, qualified blacks would be mopping floors, watching people's kids and cooks. We helped build theaters and other buildings, but we had to enter a building through the back door. We help raise the children of America, but we are looked down upon. We are supposedly filthy, but we had to clean people's houses. Oh no, my friend, that had to stop. NAACP was formed to help black people, who would normally be looked over, regardless of degrees and qualification, get the education, jobs and housing we deserve. The KKK always preached hate .

Yea, they mainly advocate the advancement for colored people (predominantly blacks) but you don't see the NAACP killing white folks now do you? They may be biased, even call them prejudice, but they aren't racist. Colored means all minorities, those who weren't considered white. Al and Jesse are a little cuckoo in the head but they aren't going around trying to instill fear in the hearts of whites. The Klan is a white supremacist organization who's main goal is to scare and preach hate towards ALL people who aren't White Anglo Saxon Protestants (WASPs) like them. So when the NAACP starts lynching white folks and burning crossed on their lawns under pointy black hoods, you let me know ok? I'll be he first one to apologize to you. There's nobody who's the same as the KKK in America, they are far too EVIL for that.

When David Duke started the National Association for the advancement of White People (NAAWP), there was a a big stink about how this organization was also racist. How can what is good for the goose, not good for the gander?

i trust if we evaluate the question from this standpoint, we are able to extra ideal make certain the reality: What if there have been (and there ought to correctly be for all i understand) a company generic because the NAACP, which stood for nationwide association for the progression of Caucasian human beings? ought to this organization be seen racist? the obtrusive question is why does no longer both colored human beings and Caucasian human beings be entitled to progression? does no longer or not it is extra ideal to disband the NAACP (both varieties) and style the NAAAP: that can stand for the nationwide association for the progression of everyone?
