I find that good old Clorox bleach removes stains from formica without damage. Apply let it sit for a min. or two., rinse clean. Should work.

Some of the cleansers (like Comet) that are out now aren't as gritty as the old ones and are specifically made for removal of stains on formica. What you do is set a pile of the cleanser on the spot and drop water onto the cleanser. After a few minutes check and lift the cleanser off of the stain (don't rub or grind in the cleanser, just lift it up) and the stain should be gone.

i am a housekeeper and when i remove stains on formica softscrub with bleach usually works. apply pressure and use small circles. be sure to let it sit for a few minutes though. if that doesnt work then you could always put a pretty vase or something of the like over it.

If none of the afore mentioned products work, you might try Bar Keepers Friend or a product called Zud. I have had good results with both.

try Soft Scrub with Bleach. that should do it. you should clean it and if it doesn't take it all off put more on and let it sit a few minutes. do that until it's gone.
