I think it will come out this summer. That's when the last one came out.
I think Harry will kill Voldemort (duh, obviously)....also Hermione will finally hook up with Ron and Harry will get to hook up with Ginnie at the end. Snape will disappear and never be heard from again, and she won't make it clear what the deal was with him. The Death Eaters will be killed, and Azkhaban (sp?) Prison will be closed down. The dementors will be eliminated.
I'm guessing Hermione will become an Auror and Ron will end up teaching at Hogwarts. Maybe Professor McGonagall will become the new headmaster. I'm kind of curious about what will happen with the Slytherin house and the descendants of Salazar Slytherin. Will they become good or just fade away? Hopefully Ginnie will learn to get along with Fleur. I'm thinking Draco Malfoy may reform himself if it isn't too late, but I also am inclined to believe that Harry will kill him.
What I'm really hoping will happen is that the muggles will learn about magic and it will be accepted into mainstream society. Mainly just because it will be funny to picture the looks on the faces of Harry's adopted family when they have to bow down to him as a hero and celebrity, after all the years they treated him like crap. Harry will invent a magical device that renders the drill obsolete and will put his uncle out of business, forcing him to take a job at the Weasley Brothers' joke shop.

I've answered this question so many times now that I've lost count. The scheduled release date is July 7, 2007 (7-7-07); there is not a title as of yet, however the titles that it most certainly not be are: "Harry Potter and the Pyramids of Furmat", "Harry Potter and the Pillar of Storge", "Harry Potter and the Toenail of Icklibogg", "Harry Potter and the Green Flame Torch" or "Harry Potter and the Mountain of Fantasy". I think that the book will end with the word "scar" given that that's what JK Rowling has said it will end with. I also think, that while she will attempt to tie up loose ends, much will not be answered.

No one but JK Rowling knows when the next book will come out. Who knows if she's even finished it! The fifth movie, however, is coming out summer 2007. No word on what it'll be called, either, although once upon a time JKR said it would end with the word "scar," although now she's not so sure.
How will the book end? I'm going to guess some Weasleys are going to die, Voldemort is going to be defeated, Snape will turn out to be a good guy and Hermione and Ron will finally end up together.

The book is coming out summer of 2007, within a week of the 5th HP movie. There's no word yet on what it's going to be called, but try http://www.mugglenet.com , http://jkrowling.com and http://www.harrypotter.com for info.
I think that Harry might die in the seventh. JK has hinted that he may, and I think so for several reasons:
1)He would most likely give up his life to protect his friends (and Ginny)
2)He is not the greatest wizard. He's good, but not nearly as good as Hermione, much less Dumbledore, and look what happened to poor old Albus?
I think that Harry will end up killing Voldemort, but that he will afterwards die from his injuries sustained in the final battle. Ron and Hermione will definitely have some subplot with their relationship, and there may be some angst between Harry and Ginny since he has to give her up.
Hope this answers your question!

We'll probably find out officially in november, but I think it'll come out this next summer ('07). No offical titles yet, but that'll come with the press release this winter. I think this book will have Harry getting back with Ginny, because he was stupid to walk away from her in the last book. I'm pretty sure that the conflict will come down to a showdown between Voldemore and Harry, with backup from Hermione, the Weasleys, the Hogwarts staff, and Neville (the people who love Harry). That's why Dumbledore was so insistent that Love would conquer all, because when things get scary- love is why people stick around.

I heard that J.K. wanted to release it on 7-7-07, but has been advised not to as the 5th Harry Potter movie is scheduled for 7-13-07.
I have many predictions, but the only one that hasn't really been mentioned yet is that I believe Voldemort will turn Lily and James' corpses into Inferi, and Harry will be forced to destroy his parents' bodies.
Oh...and I think that R.A.B. is Regulus Black, although it seems that most people have already reached that conclusion, so it's nothing new.

There is much speculation as to what will be the release date of the final Harry Potter book. Rowling has stated that she is in the process of writing it, and hopes to be done by the summer of 2006. Assuming she accomplishes this, and based on the length of time it takes to simply print the millions of copies of the book that are needed for the first day, it can be guessed that it will be released in the summer of 2007. A spokesperson from Bloomsbury announced in May 2006 that it is likely that Potter will enjoy a 2007 release.
a lot more info is in the link below =)
~Estimated release: sometime in 2006-07
~The final word of the final chapter is "scar" or "scars".
~Rowling has said in a recent interview that we will be told what James and Lily Potter did when they were alive and how they became so wealthy. She also said that there are going to be more deaths in the coming books.
~J.K Rowling has hinted Harry's death but she also has said she has written the last chapter of book 7. The prophecy says that in order for Voldemort to die, Harry would have to kill him, or vice versa.
~In Harry Potter 7, J. K. Rowling has hinted that the Chamber of Secrets will be in these books.
~Hermoine will become Headmistress of Hogwart's in the future. Ron will be an Auror.
~In the 7th book Harry might find a mysterious power to defeat Voldemort.
~Harry's eyes play an essential role in the book
~One of Harry's classmates become a teacher
~In book 7, the 'big thing' we'll find out about Lily is something to do with the way she went from hating James, to marrying him. Otherwise, there really wasn't any reason for JKR to make Lily hate James in the first place.
~Harry becomes an unregistered animagus like his father, possibly a stag or phoenix
~Harry becums one of the most greatest wizards ever lived.
~Fred and George will be captured by Voldemort and and he tells Harry that he wil only spare one of their lives (for a reasons unknown) as soon as Harry chooses George to die... Georges body becomes a new item that will help Harry kill Voldemort.
Fact: There will be Quidditch World Cup qualification matches during the year although Final game falls out of 7th book's timeframe
THIS NEXT ONE WILL BE VERY SHOCKING FOR YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
~ Malfoy will join Harry Ron and Hermione in order to help defeat Lord Voldemort. This is because his father had betrayed him and Malfoy felt hhorribal and wanted to get back at his father.

The book will be out by the 4th or 5th month of 2007.
No idea about what will it's name be.
In the end I know for sure Harry would die after killing Voldemort of course. May be Ginny would die too. But Dumbledore is certainly alive and will make it through. Malfoy & Snape will be spared.

Well, only know a few things. Not sure when it's going to be released, and no one knows what the title's going to be, but it was rumored by J.K. Rowlling that two of he HP characters are going to die. I'm thinking one of these might be Harry, and the other Voldemort. But that's just a guess.
