A "single" sounds is an apartment with a single bedroom.
A "studio" is an apartment with no separate bedroom, just a single (usually small) room that serves as your kitchen/living room/bedroom. The only "proper" room within a studio apartment (aside from the undivided living space) is the bathroom.
I have never heard of a bachelor apartment, only a bachelor "pad". A bachelor pad can refer to any size or type of space/house that is furnished/decorated specifically for a guy's lifestyle. I.e. - big-screen TV, dartboard, girlie posters, neon beer signs, recliners, etc. ; )

As addendum to the previous answers, a bachelor apartment is what's known as "Key West Style" where I'm from, where the bedroom is separated by a wall in a studio style apartment. It's a studio with a privacy wall.
