Listen to this one! A deaf mute family lives across the street from me. When we first moved in, my son was small. He waved to the man as the man was walking down the street. Just a small child being friendly.
Next thing I know, I've got this man irate and at my front door, making these unintelligible garbling sounds, waving his arms, and obviously furious, pointing at my son. (who was terrified, by then).
It turns out, the wave from my son was interpreted by the man as giving him the "finger"! We only figured this out when we got the man's son to interpret for us what was going on. He could do sign language, understood his dads garbles, and had enough speech lessons to be audible.
MY GOD!! Will the craziness never end???

How insulting. Did he leave anything? I mean, was he SUPPOSED to make a delivery to you? If yes, I"d call the store and tell them you don't appreciate the treatment.
I don't mind non-english speaking people, but when it comes to dealign with ENGLISH (or ok, AMERICAN) speaking people, they really get to me.
