Business Administration is a basic degree which can be used to obtain many management positions. If you have a specific field of interest, you should obtain an emphasis (i.e. marketing, accounting).
Success is not guaranteed with any degree. I would suggest that you consider your interests, strengths, weaknesses, and core values before choosing a career. Also, what is success to you? A big bank account, a title, creative license? People who love what they do tend to be the most successful.
Also, you don't have to choose a major in your first year (or two). You can take gen ed classes and one or two classes in your interested field. My friend decided to be an accountant but hated Advanced Accounting. She took Marketing as a required course and loved it. She graduated with a BBA with an emphasis in Marketing and plans to open her own business.
Consider this: are you willing to work your way up the corporate ladder or do you want to be in charge immediately? In most cases, it will take 10 to 20 years to obtain an executive position.

I have two bachelor's in Business, Accounting and Finance, I just finished my first year in Law school, and I am planning to eventually finish getting my CPA and finish Law.....You can have a bachelor's in business and have a lot of opportunities, if you are planning on doing a master's you can probably have a lot of opportunities. I recommend that, when you get to college, if you really like business administration, take on some summer internship programs that way you can start making a name for yourself. When you go on this programs you can meet new people, explore the real side to working with business every day, and plus you get to travel. I think one of the best summer programs is SEO, look for their site www.seo-ny.org. They let you stay in NYC, work for the whole summer in areas like Stocks, Accounting, Finance, etc....and you get paid like $12,000 for the whole summer. They also have programs in other cities, I think Chicago and California, I am not sure, but you can check it out in their site.
Once you get to school, you'll know if Business Administration is really for you, and if you do decide, to make sure you become like a top executive somewhere, look for summer internships, because once you work with them, they always let you come back another summer, or either offer you a real job once you graduate. Good luck.
