He is definitely NOT the best champ ever. Not knocking you, but if you think that he's the best champ ever, then you've only watched wrestling for less than four years.

I don't. Once he became champ, he lost half his fanbase, so all he has left are little kids and girls who think he is hawt.

To be the best champ ever, you have to have the crowd with you if you are a babyface, like Rock, Austin, Hogan. When these three babyfaces were champs, everyone still cheered them, not just the teenage girls. Of course it is much easier to be a heel champ, like HHH, Edge, or Angle, because it is easier to get people to hate you than love you. If you can make people love you, then you are a good champ. Hogan's WWF title run in the mid 80's was probably the best of all time, followed by Stone Cold in the 90's as second place. Cena is waaaay way down there, with Big Show and Jeff Jarrett.

And it is not just because of the "five moves of doom" because every WWE non-cruiserweight wrestler uses that formula.

John Cena has a lot charisma, but technically speaking, he isn't a very good wrestler. The crowd was with him until he actually became champ. If a "face" champ, gets booed, it isn't a good thing. So no, I do not think he is the best champ ever. But, don't get me wrong, I like watching him.

I don't watch wrestling as much as I use to but from what I see every now and then, He wouldn't have been even considered to be a champ 10 years ago, he would have been a john doe or somebody that got his a** whooped by the real super stars.. but its good you're a fan buddy.. no offense.

I think he edges out the Rock. I know the Rock was kind of a dork but he was a peoples champ, he gave it all for the fans until he got into the movies. It is the same with Cena only he is cool ta boot.

I think he's awesome!!! He's such a great wrestler. He FUed Big Show!! He has a lot of charisma also. He's so sweet too..I met him in real life. Overall, I think that John Cena is the greatest champ ever!!! =D

Where in the world do you come up with that nonsense? John Cena's finishing move couldn't put down a 5 year old, let alone a grown man. You can't see me? Please! I can see right through punk boy and he's a lame excuse for a champion. Even Randy Orton was a better champion than he was, and I hate Orton and his cocky self.

I like how nearly everyone who likes John Cena only likes him for sex appeal, Edge deserves to be champion. You can all say "But he cheated" it is written in the script for him to cheat. And I recall at Wrestlemania 20 John Cena cheated to get the U.S. Championship so anyone who dislikes Edge for cheating but loves John Cena should get their facts straight.

why he only does five moves (2 shoulder barges, sidewalk-slam, five knuckle shuffle, fu and that new submission move) every ******* match. OK he gets the crowd on their feet with his witty trash talk but as for a real great champ its gotta be the ultimate worrier first holder of world and intercontinental belts and he beat hogan to get it at the time when hogan was a virtual god.

he is not only the best champ ever he is the greatest champ in the world he would be the champion again if it wasn't for slutt puching the ref in the face at snme. i love him so much that i started crying when he didn't get the belt back.
