Every team has a handful of salaried players that they are allowed to employ who do not count towards the 53 man active roster. They aren't allowed to dress for games, but they practice with the team every day. They are paid employees of the team under one year contracts. How much do they make?

The average salary is somewhere in the $100, 000 range, but certain teams do reward some players with a higher salary, depending on post-season experience and length of time as a practice-squad player.
