I personally didnt find it all that funny.infact i almost fell asleep and it was way too long:-(

I liked it, but I think people who are criticizing it need to realize that it is a different type of movie. There's much less comedy in this one, and it did get a PG-13 rating for a reason. I would like to see it again, although I have to say that I will probably pop out for a while during the boring middle parts.

I personally enjoyed it very much, its better if you watch it again because the plot seems to make more sense.
One of my favorite things about both Pirates movies though is the music. The soundtrack for the first movie is really great.

It wasn't supposed to make you laugh. It's about the adventures of Capt. Jack Sparrow. It was a great movie, can't wait for "POTC3: At World's End" to come out.

I prefer the first one... It was 2 1/2 hours long, and it didn't even finish the story.

I'd like to say it was too long, but not much to cut out. Every scene was important to the story.
Good flick, cant wait for the next one.

maybe it was way past your bed time thats why you felt like sleeping kiddo... maybe you havent seen Indian filims thay are like 3+ hours
About your movie I found it quite funny but not as much as I had imagined But the makeup work and computer animation was superb
