It means that the computer will keep track of the kinds of answers you usually give on forms. And as soon as you type in part (like your name) it will try to fill in the rest based on your most common answers.

It means the computer finishes a word or sentence for you. For example, if you are typing the days of the week in word, you will see a small yellow square popup with the name of the week you are typing. If you stop midway and press "Enter," Word will autocomplete the word for you.

It also happens with the months of the year, greetings, etc...

There is also an autocomplete attritute for HTML form input controls, if that is what you meant.
