I've found myself watching older shows on TVLand because...well, I'll just say it...newer shows suck! They rely so heavily on sex, appearances and sex that I can hardly stand it. What happened to plot and substance? So--that being said, do you find TVLand's programming more enjoyable than today's network lineups?

I love to watch the marathons. Sanford and Son is my favorite and Andy Griffith. I put it on TVLand when I retire to my bedroom and wake up to it.
I forgot the Beverly Hillibillies

Hi there, I used to watch it a lot, but since they don't show I Love Lucy anymore whenever I watch, I quit for the most part, though I did watch the Brady Bunch marthon they had on yesterday. =) That was kind of fun. I like the reality shows, esp. Big Brother, but if i'm ever in a different mode, then I like watching HGTV...or the Food Network. =)

I agree with you. TV Land stuff is awesome. I love I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, Green Acres,The Addams Family and Cheers. I miss Petticoat Junction (not a lot of people know about it). And I used to watch My Three Sons. TV Land is the best!

I used to watch that channel all the time when I was younger and couldnt sleep, but I think that was before TV Land came out, it was just Nick at Nite I think. But I was addicted to it all... Patty Duke, Donna Reed, Mr. Ed, Dobie... I loved it!

I think the old shows are pretty unwatchable too. But not AS unwatchable.

I keep trying to watch the Munsters, hoping that it's gonna keep me interested, but it's just the same plot over and over again.

I like Nick at Nite better.--usually have it on when I go to bed, but there is also Spike, Hallmark and USA that do older shows.

Hardly. Some of those shows I didn't watch, even when they were new.
