Go to any car dealer that offers full service, or any body shop, and ask for a QUOTE on fixing all the dings and scratches, and priming and repainting your car, total job.
It WOULD look better, if you get a GOOD body and paint job, it can look like brand new, and if you went to sell it, you would get a better price.
If there is rust on it, with holes right through the body, however, its probably not worth the 1200-1500 $ that it will cost you for a complete job. You might find a back-yard type that might do it for 5-600 plus materials.

You get what you pay for with paint jobs. The Maaco specific may well be great affordable in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it is going to look great affordable too. in case you intend on protecting the vehicle for any quantity of time i might funds lots greater advantageous than $3 hundred for a sparkling paint activity.

I'd go to 3 or 4 paint and body shops and get estimates, then compare them and then choose the one that is the most reasonable for the work to be done.Sometimes cheapest isn't always best.Unless it really needs painting tho,I would just drive it the way it is.

New paint will make it look better, but unless it's done right, by a reputable body shop, it could end up making the car look tacky. Make sure if you take it in, that you ask them if they remove logo's and such and take a look at a few they have done.

if it runs well and isnt rusted, then dont worry about the paint. You have a boyfriend so you dont need to worry about showing off for dudes so just run with it. if there is rust though you need to get that taken care of or it will cause huge problems later.

It depends on how mechanically sound the car is. If it runs really good it would be worth it. Just make sure they sand it first.
