I think Miss Japan should have won...she's one of the most beautiful women i've ever seen in my life.

I think Miss Japan should have won. Firstly, she is a perfect combination between traditional and modern propensities. Secondly, she didn't really act like she was prowling for the crown. Remember when she was asked the question about how she learned so many languages? She smiled a lot and she was truly happy, she made everybody her friends from that moment. She didn't try to behave like she was trying so hard to be careful not to say this thing, not to walk that way such and such. She was totally confident and comfortable.
Miss Puerto Rico was totally a blur to me. I didn't have any impression of her at all from the beginning. Now I'm still wondering why she won. Her question was an easy one. Her answer was OK but not very special. She must have been so lucky.
Oh well, I think the result would be different if this was Miss World pageant.

NO I dont think Japan should had won, because she was not Miss Universe material. She was more of Miss Cutie kind of thing. Google Miss Puerto Rico. She is very beautiful. Miss Paraguay was also better looking than her and she made 4th place??

I watched it... I thought Miss Japan was going to win too! I wouldn't say she's the most beautiful, I liked Miss USA better, but I still thought Japan was going to win.

I grew up in an extremely small city and extreme college replaced into were all the pastime replaced into except for paying for inebriated and making out. I even did a number of that at college. We did not get Rock stay shows coming interior one hundred and fifty miles so i did not see my first stay live performance till I went away to varsity till you count number interior sight bands playing on the Dances.

I watched most of it. That guy that was singing annoyed the hell out of me! Yeah, I wanted Japan to win. Didn't they pick Canada last year, or the year before? I liked the person for....what was it called....Trinidad and Tobega, or something like that. I liked her too.

well I agree, however she did a little male bashing..might be why she's the 1st runner-up, since puerto rico had a solid answer. I find puerto rico to be fake...like she had a lot of work done...maybe to much make up..LOL

I agree. She should have won. Problem is her answer had too much substance for a superficial show with superficial judges.

me too!!!! everyone i talked to agrees. but my mom thinks she didn't win cause of her answer to that one question were she said that men should be less violent. i mean, you have to take into account that she's from Japan! it's different from the U.S.!!!!
