You can't contact any friends or family again. You get a nice house, a car, and you bills are paid, but you don't get to be rich.

as long as I can give my cats assumed names... disco could be punk rock kitty, and murphy could be einstein... then sure sign me up... sometimes you have to reinvent yourself

First reaction if, of course, to say YES.
But on more reflection of what it really means, it is similar to being in prison, except you are not locked up.
I suppose you could make a new life for yourself with friends, etc.
I am not sure what you mean by "you don't get to be rich".

Does that mean you would still hold down a job, earn pay but have everything else looked after for the rest of your life.

The answer would still be NO.
The only exception to this rule might be if you have no family or friends to speak of, then it could be a go.

No not at all. I think it would be a a life of isolation, I'd be afraid to get close to anyone for they might get hurt out of revenge on my turning stool pigeon. It would be a a life spent constantly looking over my shoulder wondering is someone was paid off to tell of my location. I saw enough Miami Vice to know the protection program never works!

I was really tempted to say yes, yes, yes to this...HOWEVER...no, I couldn't bear never to be in touch with my children again. I wouldn't miss the few friends I have (we're not terribly close; mostly work acquaintances) and my birth family is pretty much dead to me anyway. I don't need to be rich, but I'd be happy having my needs met. But I couldn't live without being in touch with my children! So, I guess (unless you allow me the special exception of bringing along my kids) I'll have to turn down your offer.

Well you can still work and stuff so who says you can't get rich. And since I really have little family left I sure would do this without a second thought.

no I wouldn't. there are way more important things in life other than those material things you listed, and one of them is freedom! The freedom to see your friends and family, and the freedom to be rich or poor, so why trade it all for a few things you can work hard for and achieve?

YES!!! well maybe no I have two little ones I can't part with them. So only if I could take them, even then, I'd probably sneak and see the rest of my family

I started out saying yes. Then I thought about it. Would I be missing or dead to my family? Would my daughter get my insurance benefits? If so, then yes. I would be okay knowing that she would be okay financially. I could always check out her myspace.
