what am i doin wrong im copying and pasting and it just shows the text on my page but not the picture

On photobucket when you upload a photo into your folder you can see there are three lines with codes. You have to copy and paste the middle code which I believe is named "Tag".

I get pics off of photobucket but, I don't use the codes. I usually just right click a picture I want and go to properties and copy the url. I sometimes use image shack or just I use this code.

Put the pictures url between the first set of quote marks and use this code...
< img src=""width=""height=""/>
You can find the width and hieght by opening the picture in 'Paint' and checking the 'Attributes'.under the 'image' tab at the top.

make sure you are copying and pasting the "tag" code, not the url or the one that starts with [IMG], and make sure you copy it all, from < to >.
