i have tried 0034 and 0044 and got no luck, what am i doing wrong

try +34. you have to hold the 0 until a + sign appears, then punch in the rest of the numbers and call

our country code is 0034..try calling the operator where you are.. I remember a friend having a problem calling my mobile and the operator advised her to add a 1..but check it out

If you AND your sister both got your mobile phone contract in the UK or same country you do NOT need any country code, just dial the normal number!

p.s.

you will get charged at a higher rate per minute so keep the chat short.

0034 is what you should dial (assuming you are phoning from the UK) and it should work. I don't know why it wouldn't.
Are you absolutely sure you have her number right?

This will be very expensive. You could do it for much less using http://www.skype.com (with Skype Out) or Free, if your sister has a Skype account and access to a computer (computer to computer is free, but you need headphones with a microphone).

if your sister's mobile is from your country, you must put the area code of your country...
