I really have no idea whats going on with the White Sox. The Dodgers, even though I love them, suck right now. They need another good pitcher and the line up needs to produce more runs. They have left so many runners on base lately. They're only 4.5 games behind, they still have a chance to make the playoffs.

The Dodgers don't have enough depth, and the White Sox are just going through a funk right now, but the Sox should be fine. The Dodgers, on the other hand, won't make the playoffs. I look for Arizona to come out of that division

Dodgers are really playing more at their potential. They have a lot of questionable elements and have been lucky to hold it together this long. Odds seem to have finally caught up with them.
The sox, though are a bigger question. They've been playing some very tough teams (yankees / detroit / red sox). Those are the toughest teams in baseball. So a certain slide is to be expected. Aside from that, Sox starting pitching has been -bad-. Throw in at least one glaring hole in the Sox' lineup, and you have a recipe for the occasional disaster. And the Sox have won it all just last year, so they're a little bit too happy now. They need to reclaim their motivation. I personally look for the sox to win 2 out of 3 against the twins, but they still may be in trouble.

The Dodgers put their eggs in the basket of Nomar Garciaparra, who has not had an injury riddled season in who knows how long. The White Sox have a manager who has decided that since he has won the World Series he does not have to answer to anybody about anything, and he has officially become a distraction. What used to be funny is now annoying. The NL West is full of teams about the same as each other, and most likely they will not make the playoffs - look for San Francisco to pull through on the arm of Jason Schmidt

i be conscious of what you're speaking approximately it somewhat is often with regard to the purple Sox and Yanks, in my opinion i'm unwell of it. it somewhat is a stupid opposition it somewhat is blown out of share. Did you watch spring education, the only video games that have been on espn have been Sox and Yanks video games. I kinda had to observe the Cardinals and something of the NL. i'm no longer a Dodger fan, i'm a Cardinals fan, yet i think of the media only would not care with regard to the national league. i like the Dodgers in spite of the indisputable fact that. The enjoying cards and the Dodgers are the class of the national League. The NL isn't talked approximately as the senior circuit for no longer something. each and every of the AL is, is a homerun circus, on a similar time as the NL is all with regard to the attitude of the game. The NL performs baseball the final way. with a bit of luck a NL team will win it this three hundred and sixty 5 days as long as that isn't the Cubs.

With the exception of last season, the Dodgers recent history has always included a post-all-star break meltdown. This years meltdown is just off to a faster start than usual. And no, the Dodgers won't sniff the post-season. The division will go to either Las Madres or Los Gigantes.

Yes the Dodgers will make the playoffs. They have just had one of they're hardest schedules this season and only 4 1/2 games behind. Dont count them out because the NL West is up in the air for EVERYONE in the division.

Both teams are not hitting and their pitching has been not so great lately. The White Soxs are too good of a team to keep strugling and they will come out of it but the Dodgers have alot of questions so there slump may be harder to come out of.

Because their pitching is not up to par, and because they are not scoring runs. The Dodgers will not make the playoffs this year, I am sorry to say. However, IF they pick up some quality pitcher, they may have a chance next year!!
Have to call them as I see them.

White Sox had previously been finding ways to win. Somehow, they now seem to be finding ways to lose.
A lot of baserunning errors have occurred recently, as well as a number of bad fielding decisions. In addition, except for Garland, the starting pitching has been dreadful, especially Buehrle, who's gotten hammered in his last 3 starts. Relief hasn't been that sharp either.
