Usually, it's everyone besides the pitchers. Went to the Red Sox / White Sox game in Chicago and got there 2 hours before the game to watch them warm up. THAT is the best part cause most of the players will sign autographs, throw out baseballs and the batters try to hit home runs so the crowd can catch the balls!! Had a blast, especially since the RED SOX won!!

Everyone takes practice except for the starting pitcher that night. Even relief pitchers will get in there for a couple of hacks.

all players are suppose to take part in batting practise....but there are days when the team will have a players optional batting practise....and starting pitcher for the day won't normally bat, but i have seen it done.....

All position players take BP.
Sometimes pitchers do too, unless they're starting the game.
