Id say that "Vanishing Light" would give you more of a range.
"Bloody Ending" sounds like it would limit the type of songs expected of you, and probably lock you into a particular audience also.

I dont see either one coming up as a band in Google
(which is a good thing to check also to avoid troubles in the future)

I would go with Vanishing Light. Bloody Ending sounds disgusting and implies bodily harm.

Just an opinion from an 'old' Baby Boomer for what it's worth.

Vanishing Light will take the band to new heights as opposed to the tampon name.

vanishing light....sounds better than the bloody ending..that sounds like a bad poop problem!!

How about "The bloody ending of our careers".

a band name should have some minimal if not
humorous meaning , relation,
or inference to the people in it , or their style

The Beattles, for example , often sustained themselves on
a diet of crickets, aphids and termites while on the road.

Dont choose a name with a 'swear' word in, even the word bloody as a lot of people dont like it.
