music is copywritten so somebody has to pay for the music. Either you pay for it, or the service that you are getting them from has to pay. More than likely if you are getting them free, then you are getting them illegally.

download mp3rocket from http://www.mp3rocket.com or go to http://www.downloads.com and download the same.(never opt for limewire, it gets u virus). now...mp3rocket is where you can search for the song you want to download, u get numerous options. please make note to scan ur downloads for virus before playing it. i have had over 80 downloads thru it and thankfully no virus so far unlike limewire
p.s. and...its free, so have fun!!!

i dont know if it is illegal but if it is really illegal the program is should not be publish.
