The current administration in its short sighted view of the world, believes the devastation Israel is inflicting upon Lebanon is making the world safer by aiding the administration's "war on terrorism". As "Christian leaders" of the worlds greatest "Christian" nation they believe that killing terrorists or "an eye for and eye" is the solution to most of the worlds current problems. The "love thy enemy" part of their bible doesn't apply to "terrorists" who are worse than "enemies" and are not really human beings created by God, but rather are Satan's evil beings. And the innocent victims of the war are in between and are known as "collateral damage". A few hundred dollars given to their survivors is sufficient penitence for mistakes made in killing them. No doubt after the US allows Israel to bomb Lebanon a little longer we will agree to give them billions to rebuild their cities. Hopefully the Lebanese will take comfort knowing the speed with which the administration has helped our own citizens after Katrina.

Do they? They agree Israel has a right to defend itself, but they also sent Condeleeza Rice - our Secretary of State to Lebanon today to let them know of our concern & to signal to Israel to look at plan & see if it has been accomplised. I want to know why Lebanon does not just give back the Israeli soldiers or their bodies.

The US does not want the fighting to continue. We just do not want Hezbollah to remain capable of murdering and or kidnapping more innocent people. If Israel is not successful in crippling Hezbollah's capabilities then the terror will continue.
