Don't listen to those other people because you are the size of most high school varsity FB's right now. You are too slow to be a linebacker. To be 210 lbs/ 5'7" at 14 years old has the indicators that you will be at least 6'3" and 300 lbs by your senior year in high school. You should target the interior offensive line - center or guard. Perfect your technique and learn your position well. If your speed picks up, you should consider moving to the defensive line or sliding over and playing one of the offensive tackle positions.

As young as you are I say give 100% at every position and let the coach pick your position. I ended up at Tight end and played a little bit of linebacker. Tight end was alot more fun, getting to go out for a pass and being lead blocker on options was fun. Definately let the coach put you where he see's you best fitting in. However, if your not satisfied tell the coach. Try out for a different position, challenge the current player for his, whatever it takes. Never settle if you think you can do a better job at a position you want to play.

Play everything you can. If your like in Jr. High or something it's good to get a feel for all the positions. Once you get to Late high school and College you pretty much play one. That's my take. Other sports help you to. like Tennis, basketball, Baseball, swimming. If you can manage to learn these sports you'll be a Sick Athlete for sure and it won't matter what you play. That my time Peace.

yo shorty, you sound like a center or maybe a guard. you have to be a thinker to play offensive line though. otherwise play on the D line. dont let your coaches stick you out at tackle, its for dummies.
