I would only want to know their health status, any STDs? Other than that, no way!
An intimate relationship can be challenging enough. It's dangerous to be distracted by the past, which isn't changeable. Protect what matters here and now: your health, your trust and affection for each other.

This is quite a question. I am 49yr old now and I don't care to hear about it NOW, unless there is a problem which came from another partner. What has happen before I have met them is really not any of my business. Your past is your past, let it be. This has taken me a long time to own up to this question because I remember when I was younger I felt I had a right to no. So I feel I have matured enough to let the past be the past. Great question I have thought a lot about this myself throughout my years. God Bless.

s i will definitely. not just coz i wanna know if my partner has STD or not, as many have answered, also coz i want to be true and i dont want any secrets between us.

moreover i prefer hearing about the sexual past from the partner rather than from a third person, which might cause a rift between us.

i wud share my past as well.

I would rather know so I can take precautions... like a bunch of tests for sexual related contagious diseases.

The more people you've slept with, the more chances that you'll have a disease and pass it on to someone you may love.

However I would really hate to hear all the sexual things they have done to/with others, I think that would be a morbid curiousity.

I would definitely want to know about past relationships but I dont think I' care to know details..what for?I mean,I know I wouldnt want to share my details..I think sticking to the basics is best....less complicated.I hate when couples fight and then they will bring up something from the past that one of the two has done and throw it in the others face.So...."what you dont know, wont hurt you"..right?

Sometimes you open yourself up to things you dint want to know and then you can misjudge a person by their past because people change and learn from past experiences so I would say no I don't wanna know what they've done with someone else I wanna know what they do when it comes to me!

Sure if they want to tell me about it. I am secure in my relationship that things like that don't bother me. Hey if I threw a fit over everything my guy says or does I would be a mess. Guys like to talk so give them some chat time. Just be happy and accepting and get over it.

It's been 11yrs. and I still don't know. I never wanted to. We made a mutual agreement. It never crosses my mind anymore until questions like this come up. In the beginning it was due to jealousy that I didn't want to know. Now he could tell me and it wouldn't matter. I don't think it's important to a relationship to reveal things like that.

yes i do because its not a good thing if they have something to give to you...not meaning anything to make you happy. knowing more about your partner means more to talk about and to get to know them..i know that sounds confusing but hey conversation is always great reguardless of what it might be. if you love your partner you would want to know these kinda things
