Does anyone remember the features of an average MP3 player around 2000 or early 2001. I remember they were about the size of a big watch face and played about 16 songs.

Looking for cost & memory-size back then. Like would $100 get you a 16 meg player in 2000, or a 4 meg player?

This question refers to the YEAR 2000 -- which was 6 years ago; a time when you had never heard the word "google".
