If they're union they make about 35+ an hour. It depends on how many hours they work in a week/month so it's hard to put an exact pin point on the monies. Usually electricians don't work a 40 hr work week unless they are with a contractor and are a development project.

But lets say they worked 40 hrs a week at $35/hr. That would be $5600 before taxes and union fees. Not bad huh? Have a friend who's a electrician with a large development company he makes really good money!!

If he/she belongs to a union, then the hourly pay is better than if he/she is non-union. In our area, the union wages can be up to almost $50 an hour. I guess it would depend on where you live.
