The baby's middle name will be Eva after her great-grandmother who passed away December 2004. She was a very special lady and she hold a very special place in my heart. Baby is due this December (2006). I am thinking of Faith for a first name but I am not sure. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I could go with Eva for a first name, but there are two reasons why I will likely not.
#1 - friend just named her daughter Eva.
#2 - husband likes it as a middle name but not a first name.

Eva is very pretty and feminine, so the first name should go with that theme. Stay away from strong first names that would compete.
I'd choose a name with 2 or 3 syllables to enhance the harmony of it. Maybe a name that begins with an "A." Congrats!

Well if you were considering Eva as a first name "Mari" would be a great middle. It means wanted or wished for child!

I like both the names, I don't know if I would put them together, but the only thing that matters is what you like. I'm trying to think of something to pair with Eva, that's hard!!!!! Good Luck! :)

i like them all but u might also want to consider the last name because sometimes some first names don't work with certain last names. If you buy a baby name book u can also look for names with meaning behind them.

Faith is not a bad name at all. I wish I could suggest a better name, but you're usually best going on your insticts. What does the little voice inside you say?

I named my daughter Sophia, which isn't very common, I also pondered Jacquline , Christina , and Phoebe. I also really really liked Francesca , but that was a NO !! from my husband. Good luck and Congrats !!
