Before the USA when to Afghanistan it was totally a terrorist state. Did you ever see the video of woman being killed in public stadium by those terrorists. Afghanistan was a base to spread worldwide terrorism and now it is not. National elections have taken place where the people have a say in their government. It is similar in Iraq except that there the world got tired of having to stop Saddam's aggression in fighting with Iran, invading Kuwait, attacking Israel, killing and gassing segments of it's own population, telling the UN that he had weapons of mass destruction (which he used against the Kurdish people and Iran), and continually resisting UN sanctions to keep the peace. The Iraqi people have overwhelmingly voted to have a free government. The infighting we see now is mostly the terrorist actions of inside militias trying to hold on to their power. They are slaughtering people of different ethnicity or religion. They will not succeed because now the USA is getting tired of them the way it got tired of Saddam's aggression. There are more schools, hospitals and other infrastructure than before. Once the militias are put down there will be more done.

Afghanistan is better, and parts of Iraq is better. The Taliban was forcefully removed because they were hiding Bin Laden and would not give him up. Prior to invading Afghanistan the US gave the Taliban an opportunity to turn Bin Laden over to US authorities they refused and received their just reward. I do not know the actual reason we are in Iraq, I do not nor did I ever agree with invading Iraq as with a lot of Americans. Al Queida Orchestrated the attack on the Twin Towers which killed thousands of Americans and that gave us the right to attack Afghanistan. Had the Taliban turned Bin Laden over to the US, they would not have been bothered.

America is King Kong, you may not like what we do or how do it.

When that T-Rex comes to eat you and we break his ***!

You should be thankful, and respectful!

Iraq and Afganistan are like the fight between KK and the T-Rexes. It's a hard fought slug fest to the end. KK has killed one T-Rex and about to kill #2. All the while #3 is raiseing h#ll! When #2 is dead #3 will get his just rewards. It takes time, but King Kong kicks b^tt, and busts their ***!

Wait till the fight is over and see who's won! King Kong will still be there and victorious. There will be alot of damage from the intense fighting. Just be ashured victory will be ours!

For awhile the Taliban was controlled in Afganistan, but they are back now cuz the US is focused on Iraq. But that is all the good.

The US is not in Iraq for any reason than to control the oil and to give a great big handout to Haliburton. It's all about the oil. That's why Bush is so interested in Iran, the second biggest oil producer on earth.

It certainly is NOT about Bin Laden. This quote is proof. (notice the dates)

The USA came to those countries already and defeated those cruel governments for those people. Did they not? We, at that time could have said okay we are taking over your countries government and setting up one like we have in the United States and you belong to us now. But no, we did not do that did we. No we tried to help the people to set up their OWN government to be a good and kind government. But has it helped? Has it? Do the people of those countries take the opportunity to become a better place for their people? Have they? No, we are back over there trying to keep the evilness and cruelty of terrorism from coming top the US. I don't understand why we are hated for our help, but we are. I hope I see a better day than today for my children and their childrens children.

According to the media news , what we see and hear the WAR there is out of solving! It has gotten worse. As a matter of fact it has escalated to the conflict in Lebanon! I think president Busch did not have the right information when he decided to go into Iraq, Afhanistan or Lebanon! This might escalate to a 3rd world war/.

simple, the crazy ruler of iraq is gone...he was bombing his own people with chemical weapons, i think those people are happy he is gone. is it worse, no, those people have a chance at living..sure there are bombs going off almost daily, but thats cause the regular people are so afraid, as they have been forever, to stand up against those that are killing them. its not the US killing innocent iraqi people daily, its fellow iraqi crazies killing iraqi civilians. if you dont believe that saddam was a bad man that was doing horrible things to his own people and needed to be removed, then there is no point talking to you cause you really dont understand. here is some context, one person voted against him in the "election"...that man was shot a few days later. half of the country voted against Bush in the second election, that half is still alive. its nice to be able to choose your leader
