It would be a good idea to take it again, but don't forget about all the other factors that are important to colleges; involvement in school, community service, your essay. People with perfect SAT scores have been denied from good colleges because they were lacking in all the other areas.

Your SAT definently needs work. A competitive score is around a 1950. Ivy league is about 2100. However, the top 20 colleges your looking at consider much more than those three factors. The GPA and Class Rank are right where you need 'em. Be sure to take the SAT and the ACT. The SAT is a logic test while the ACT is a knowledge test. Generally people score much higher on one test than on the other. It depends on how your brain works. Be sure to work on the test scores and that all your extracurriculars are in order and you've got a decent shot! Good luck!!!!1

chill out frosh.you're very just about a sophomore and you're appearing like a freshman. The valedictorian is anybody who has the utmost GPA. At my rival college, the valedictorian had a three.5. Your type rank relies upon on the different individuals on your type. as quickly as I had a three.8, my rank grew to become into 8. Now I truthfully have a 4.0 and the rank is 3.
