I wouldn't think so. Are you thin? I don't know because babies usually don't start kicking until about 20 weeks and it's usually pretty soft.

Its not that unusual, like the others seem to think, I could feel the baby in my wife's stomach at about the same number of weeks,a nd she was able to feel him much sooner than 17 weeks. He's now 4 weeks old and no problems, But I can see why it happened, he sure wiggles a lot for a month old kid.

at 20 weeks, the baby is not "kicking" you are just feeling him/her move in jults. Yes, it's okay for him to be feeling it. Especially if you are thin. I'm sure you're as far along as your doctor says you are. My husband felt our daughter at about 17 weeks

It is normal at about 20 weeks especially if you are thin. Then again your due date could be a little off. Good luck.

Yes it is normal! I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant with twins. Not only can everyone feel my boys move, but you can see my belly move too! I've been feeling my babies move for several weeks, and everyone's been feeling them for a good 3 weeks too.
A good mother is not only in tune with her body, but is in tune with her baby/babies.

if this is ur first baby, and you are pretty thin, it is common for you to be streching. if you are thin and even if you not super thin you can even see you baby's entire foot sticking out. it is normal.
