Ok, first of all he didn't die. They probably want u to think that but why would the make a third Pirates of the carribien 2 without Jack Sparo?

Well, Johnny Depp is in the third movie so I don't think he is dead. The filmmakers never said such a thing. You will just have to wait until the next one comes out around Memorial Day of next year.

Technically you never see Jack die. You just see him get swallowed by the Kraken. In the third movie they will be bringing him back. As Tia Dalma says at the end they will have to travel to the end of the earth and beyond with Barbossa to bring Jack back.

And I don't think he died, I think he'll come back and kick some ***. And hopefully the 3rd movie won't suck as badly as this one and they'll stop making them.

You never see Capt. Jack Sparrow die actually. If Barbossa came back to life then surely there must be a way to get Jack out of the gullet of that beasty. Plus, at least he got his hat back.

Did you even watch the ending, with the voodoo lady in the swamp??? Yes he'll be back. Barbossa came back, didn't he? Johnny frigging Depp carries this whole trilogy on his back, of course he's in all three parts.

cap'n jack sparrow does not die in the 2nd pirates of the caribbean. There would be no 3rd movie if he did. The movie never shows him die. besides! he's the infamous cap'n! (best answer??)

You don't actually see Jack die- that is the assumption. I have a strong feeling that we'll see Jack again in the next movie. : )

i am 99% certain that he will come back in the 3rd film
