To be honest with you, there is no one "best" company. It really depends on your personal situation and what you are looking for. There are many, many lenders out there. You can do some research online or you can find a loan officer to help you out. Either way, it's important to find someone that you can trust, that has your best interests in mind. If something doesn't seem right, trust your instincts.

Well, depends on what your 'Best' consists of, are you asking related to servicing the loan? or Rates? or what exactly?

I love Plaza as far as customer service goes, and underwriting a new loan for me when a customer picks their loans.

Downeys alright, but nothing spectacular, Sierra's a bit below par in my experience with them....

But then again I work with a lot ! of lenders so ask your question again, or email me direct... I could point you in the right direction.

If u want the chance to shop around, go with a broker and they can do it for you. THey will be able to find you the best rate for what you qualify for.
