Yeah it is, which is sad because girls who are truly bisexual have to deal with the stereotypes that bisexuals are fast or just in it for attention.

Bi-curious (which just means being curious) is a fad for the young that will come and go, but if you are bisexual (having feelings for girls and guys in a meaningful relationship way and sexually) then it's for a lifetime. Being curious is natural but is different from being bi. As long as people know the difference then whatever. But the fake lipstick lesbians that kiss girls for some guy's attention do make it harder for real bisexual women and even femme lesbians.

Not necessarily. I think it's a lot of experimentation, yes, but I think it's healthy. Because it's become more acceptable for women to try same-sex encounters, they do. And it's a healthy thing because they find out early on what they like and don't like. They don't have to question later in life, "Gee, I wonder what being with a woman would be like."
I don't think it's a bad fad to participate in if it's a fad but I do think many women are honestly curious. What women have to be careful of is leading other women on. If one woman is just experimental and not really romantically attracted to women, they need to be upfront and not lead other lesbians on. Broken hearts can occur that way. But if they're upfront and honest, I don't see a problem with being bicurious.

It takes more than just a "fad" for a straight girl/boy to do anything physical with the same sex. I think people just feel more comfortable now to be themselves, however, society still frowns upon same-sex relationships, so it scares "Straight/bi" chicks from having a "gay" relationship. That's just how I see it, I could be wrong.

It is suppose to be a fad right now and it makes it difficult for those who really are.
