buy a really nice iron
a nice ironing board

play some good music or watch the soaps while ironing
or
get some pretty spray bottles to spray clothes with water before ironing
the main thing is to do the most needed things first
then if it gets too boring put it off another day..
also hanging the clothes up on a rack [ hangers] helps youi can look at all the ironing you did already...

Put on some music. And if you can find a good one, get a cordless iron so you won't be dodging the cords all the time. I don't advise a television because of the distraction factor.

i hate it too
Downy Wrinkle Reducer does work for polos and tee-shirts and stuff that isnt too wrinkly
and there is always the wet towel in the dryer trick to smooth out the (been sitting in the dryer all day) wrinkles
also that downy wrinkle reducer works as a pre ironing treatment too

Place your ironing board in front of the television set while your favorite show is playing.

make everyone responsible for their "own" ironing...

buy ONLY wash-n-wear clothing...

REWARD yourself after an ironing session...
