How many dollars are circulated in the world?

That's a nearly impossible question to answer! Measuring money is inherently difficult. Is a dollar simply cash or does it include your balance in your bank account? Does it include assets denominated in dollars like real estate located in America? Does it include borrowing capacity? What about counterfeit money?
