I love movies about politics, and I love movies about Africa even more. However, I thought that this movie really just sucked very very badly. But alot of people thought it was great and Rachel Weisz won an Oscar for an unimpressive and boring portrayal of a person we barely meet.

I understand the movie and the points it was tyring to make about the world, but that does not mean it did not suck.

I also thought it sucked... I was so excited to watch too... I was very disappointed..
Have you seen Syriana with George Clooney?? It was about the same for me at Constant Gardener...

Constant Gardener reveals the truth about the illnesses in our world today. For example Bird Flu! It's just a flu that was created by the pharmaceutical companies to scare the world, and in turn, causing millions of dollars to be invested into their company! The world is so dependent on medicine we are blinded by the truth! Maybe they don't come out and say it in the movie, but when you work the movie into current events and start thinking outside the box, you will understand.

I would like to know more about why you didn't like it, as I just bought the DVD because I heard it was good, but haven't watched it yet. I hope I don't hate it! I really disliked that other one with Ralph Fiennes, the English Patient.

I thought it was really good. Maybe you didnt like it because it was a little dull and kinda sad.

It was unpleasant and full of sad characters. I couldn't wait for it to end.
