ok heres the scoop... my husband and i were out with our kids to his moms house to spend the day. one of his sisters was due to come over and bring her boyfriend with. shes mentioned him before but id never seen a picture or anything. anyway, all of a sudden everyones like ___'s here with__. i look up and its my ex. talk about akward, i kind of pulled my hubby aside and told him that maybe we should get going soon and just hinted why,later i told him. but what should i do, would you tell his sister, cause thats kinda wierd. rumor is they are getting kind of serious, i can just picture them getting married, her asking me to be the maid of honor or something and it will be like one of those movies where a big brawl goes down. anyway...any advice??

Like everybody else, you have the right and can't avoid to have a past. It;s not your fault if it coincides with her present and who knows, with her future. Just be honest, talk to her and clear the air before it gets out of hands, and respect each other's territory

well that is really odd..
i imagine he's going to let his sister know.. (at least i would hope so)
i guess you'll have to wait it out see how it goes..
hopefully you and your ex didn't really leave thigns off on the wrong foot between each other. . and can get a long for the sake of your significant others and their siblings

Are there reasons you and him didn't work out that your sister-in-law should know ? Maybe forewarn her ? Otherwise, what's the big deal if nothing happened between you two... did you ever think that she is happy ?

My parents because my father dated my Mother's sister first. I wouldn't worry about it unless you still have feelings for your ex.
