Doubtful although I would imagine they have a few

Total production was just over 11,000

I know in my area for drug arrests they will confiscate the vehicle. Thus there are a couple of Mustangs, Camaro Z28's and SS's that the police keep as chase vehicles. I would imagine they could have gotten a few Marauder's that way.

When I lived out east Massachusetts had a Lotus Esprit that they used.

The government typically buys Crown Vics and Grand Marquis' and in Black with the p71 package they certainly can look close. For the price on the Marauder I doubt the government bought them in mass.

Some police agencies bought the Marauder due to their better power over the crown victorias. Other than that I think the Marauder just sort of fizzled out with nobody looking, but that's okay because it means I get more attention while I drive my Marauder.

Don't think so.....the Marauder is a civilian model of the P71 that ford makes for Police agencies....so basically if you've ever drove a 06 or 07 P71 and then drove a Marauder you'll see other than a difference in the interior they are the same cars....tight suspension.... dual exhaust....
