I read a lot of questions suggesting that the President is a Nazi or that he should die a terrible death or that he should endure horrible torture and there will be several answers saying how smart that person is but what I don't see is any suggestions on what should be done. I don't see any respect for other's ideas or opinions or any respect for the presidency. When Bill Clinton was in office I never attacked him personally. I tried to have some better Ideas when I didn't agree with his policies and I never condoned people suggesting that he be murdered. I guess the right just takes the moral high road.

Aw...c'mon Ethan. You know it goes both ways. You read the questions and answers from people on the right that attack Hillary, too, don't you? We aren't all the same, and if you suggest that one party is correct, and the other one is incorrect, than you are just as bad as them. I know you're not, so I'm going to go with you're frustrated today. Therandman already informed me that there were idiots on this site today...I will warn you, too. Have a better day, and don't get caught up in the Hitler question.

Well of course they don't. It is just the American people exercising their freedom of speech and opinion. That is all it is. They are pi**ed because of the price of gasoline is finally hitting them in the pocket and they are finally waking up to the facts of the state of the union.
Bill Clinton was a good president, I was a whole lot better off when he left office than I am now. We were in a good place with other countries when he left office also. The Bush administration does not listen to a thing that the people are telling them until we throw a major fit and then his solution is to throw money at the problem.
We are so far into debt now, where when Clinton was in office we were much on our way to no debt, that I fear if the other countries call in their loans to us they can just walk in and take our country legally. I am sick to death of all the people who are just now waking up to the way the republican party when in the white house makes the people suffer unnecessarily. Look at our history and see when we have faced crisis situations before and how they were handled. The republican way was to yell and scream and then throw money at the problem that they borrow or raise our taxes to get. The democrates try to involve the whole country in the facts of the problem and then work out a solution useing what we already have here at home to fix it.
The United States cannot stand 2 more years of Bush and his way of doing things. We will not stand. We will fall. We have to do something about it and soon. I am one, and you if you agree would be two, how about three and four etc. Yell out about it, it is theonly way he listens, and then when he does he wants to build a damn wall and send our troops away from home. Who is defending the home front. We don't even have a good start on his wall. But I guess he never heard about parachuting did he or swimming in the river. Lord help us all from 2 more years of not paying enough attention.

NON OF THE CHIT CHAT HERE WILL EVER TRANSLATE INTO VOTES FOR OR AGAINST BUSH OR THE PARTIES .
IDEAL chat like this is selve seving in most cases with no one learning or accepting the truth .YOU are well aware of this and have many such backward belief's .SUPPORTIING war is wrong huge defense budgets and military build up did not make america less vulnerable to attack .OUR navy and air force can destroy entire cities at a moments notice and this did not prevent us from attack .
YOU have to look at the reason ,and quite frankley you are incapable of seeing the cause and simply believe america had a week president and this caused 9-11 .
I HOPE YOU and i both know this is not the cause and to continue to wage war is only going to continue the butchering of civilians .
IT will take several hundred years for the people who have accepted the ISLAMIC faith to change and accept slowly the ways of modern man leading to the eventual truth that GOD in the biblical sense does not exist aand all the stories are just that .
THE real solution has been stated in the bible already .TURN THE OTHER CHEEK. get use to this for in the end it is the only thing that will work .
IF WE continue to try and force our ways and laws on the ISLAMIC world it will fight us to the last man .
THIS kind of holy war is un-win-able and should of never been considered and the idiots who adopted it shot .
WHEN ISLAM changes from with-in is the only time we will have peace with them .
WE can not force the leaders to change the laws and make there way of life obsolete just because we have accepted a different morality .
100 years ago our daughters would of been arrested for leaving the house dressed as they do today .
THIS change took place during liberal times and conservatives said we would all be going to the devil for this .
WE must learn that change does happen in its own time and bring the people of islam into the 21st century is going to take some time .
WE had our own problems in christianity over the centuries .
WIDE spread killing of the non believers and people on ISLANDS and in america who were less then human and did not deserve fair treatment given civilized people of the day .BY todays standards they would have been terrorists .MEN paid to hunt down indians that escaped the reservation we had no right then to kill them but greed and today we still have no right to kill others and it is your kind of thinking that must change too .PEACE will only happen in the absence of violence .

Decent point....but I think the aggravation lies in the fact that people voted for Bush primarily to "bring back the respect to the presidency" that according to his fans Clinton so ruined with his affair. Now 6 years later we see that he is in a most ways much less deserving of respect than Clinton, and what you're seeing is the aggravation of the folks who see it. Lastly, I maintain that Bush has not and will never see the amount or severity of criticism that Clinton got, and that's something folks like you would do good to realize.

Bill Clinton didn't declare war on the people of the United States the way Bush has. Once you are found out, you have to expect the deserved attacks against you.

Wow! You really have to be the biggest hypocrite on the planet.
How about all your put-downs towards liberals the left and democrats. People who speak out against a corrupt government are called dissenters...Thomas Jefferson calls them patriots. It is our right and our duty as Americans to voice an opinion of our government or did you forget what country you live in? "I guess the right takes the moral high ground" Is just another one of your put downs towards the rights of all Americans.

No it is not doing any good-and I corrected him pronto.
What they are disappointed about is 2 things.First, they are sadedned of what is happening in the world right now.Second, they are somewhat aghast of the conservatives that poke fun at them and seem to appear shockproof, nationalistic even,at their attitude towards the war and its protesters. There are exrtremes on both sides that take each other quite personally.

Nothing to do with you,but some people on this site who attack liberals for fun on this site sound like they're being hateful online for fun.

Make no mistake, I am no fan of GW, but when people make the kind of comments you refer to in your question, it is usually because they have no evidence or examples that they can provide. Liberals, conservatives, and everyone in between has a habit of spouting off without providing any evidence. It is much easier to call people names or curse them than to engage in an intelligent debate. So it's the easy way out for people who don't like to think much.

It's great you never attacked him personally. But it's ridculous to claim conservatives never did. They wanted his head. And wasted millions of tax payer dollars trying to get it.

Pointing fingers in politics never works because the other side is always guilty.

Bush has openly claimed that people's negative opinions about him mean NOTHING to him and he ignores the negative approval ratings and opinion polls. No offense intended, but if he does not care, why should you?
