If they were days apart, take another one to be safe. If you took them one right after the other (I've been known to do it, don't laugh ;) ) then you may have diluted your urine before the second one, or it could be faulty, and you should go with the first one. You're more likely to get a false negative than a false positive. And when in doubt, buy a cheap test and take it. It should hold the answers for ya.

It is easy to get a false negative but not common to get a false positive. I would go with the positive but you should really make a doctor appt and have some blood work done. Good luck

Home pregnance tests can give false negatives but very rarely give false positives. The only reason it can show positive is if you have the hormone HCG which only occurs in the body when pregnant.

Neither go to you doctor and have the blood test done. The blood test detects pregnancy as early as the 11th day after a missed period.

If you took them right back to back your hormonal level hadnt built up from the first test so it gave you a negative test result if your not on any antibotics or anything your proably pregnant try another test with the first morning urine and go with that result or dont pee for 8 hours and then take one
goodluck!

If you bleed after the positive and the negative was 1 week after the bleeding stopped then unfortunately you have had a miscarriage. I know this is a fact as I have just had my 16 miscarriage.

As already suggested - take a third and go with the majority - it could be that your body has to settle down in some way between tests

Perhaps you should take a third test, and maybe go to the doctor. Let him know what happened with the three tests. He will be able to do the appropriate test to find out.
Congrats if you are!!
