ok im an average teenager.. and i have a boyfriend like most girls... my boyfriend is always telling me he loves me but sometimes i wonder how many other girls he's told that too so one day i was tlaking to him on the phone and i asked if he loved me as much as he did jessica( his x that he was with for 1 year) and he said NO!!!! i was pissed and shcoked i didnt expect him to say that at all.. now here is my question why do we ask for the truth but we want ot hear a lie??? (i knew he loved jessica alot but i didnt think he was gonna say that) thanxs xoxoxo

there is always THAT first love, THAT special person that will stay in our minds (and hearts) forever. there is nothing you can do about memories....
but to your question, there is a saying in Brazil:
"Common, dear! LYE to me! I love it!" It seems that we never ready to hear the truth, but rather her the lye, KNOWING it is a lye!

Maybe you should get you some more associates if you are around people that want you to lie to them. I always prefer the truth.
